This year we want to encourage LIFT SHARING as much as possible to the site. We recommend the lift share site ’freewheelers.co.uk’ to link up with other people travelling to the gathering.  Its a great way to meet people travelling from your area or bring down your petrol costs… freewheelers

Also we have a big  Facebook family you can join.  Just search for ’Wildheart’…Its a great place to see pictures from the May and September gatherings, connect up with people you met in the field and hear of related events. Do feel welcome to join……

Directions to the Wild Heart Gathering

The gathering is taking place at Colin Godmans Farm, Perrymans Lane, Furners Green, Uckfield, East Sussex, TN22 3RR.  You are welcome to come on site from 9am on Friday morning. Please be aware that our Ticket Desk and Main Gate open & close daily at 9am/9pm.  After 9pm no vehicles are allowed on -site for safety reasons.

Click here for Directions and Map.

To get there by public transport, you can get a train to Haywards Heath from London or Brighton, then take the 270 bus and ask the driver to let you off at Tanyards Lane, in Chelwood Gate. It’s a short walk to the site – there will be signs to the gathering site for you to follow.

Practical Guidance for On-Site

Recommended items to bring:

  • A Torch – it gets very dark on site at night, as the only electricity we have is from a few solar panels that run the PA system.
  • First Aid Kit – although there will be first aiders present, it is a rough camping situation and it makes sense to be able to take care of basic first aid yourselves.
  • Sunscreen
  • Waterproof footwear

Guidance regarding use of the lakes:

  • If you wish to swim it is at your own risk and you must only use the middle lake.  We recommend that if children are swimming, whether they are competent or not, a parent or dedicated responsible adult is present.  It is up to you to monitor your own children.
  • A steward will be present at the middle lake from 9am – 6pm to ensure that activities around the lake are conducted safely, but they will not be expected to take responsibility for children swimming without a guardian present.
  • NUDITY – Please be discreet if you wish to sunbathe or swim nude.  Fishermen who are not involved with our event have access to the lakes over the weekend and children may also be present.

Fires:

  • Dedicated fire pits will be created in strategic points around the site.
  • If you wish to have a fire elsewhere, the turf needs to be removed and put somewhere shady, to be replaced afterwards.
  • Fires should be kept small and away from tents and other structures that may be flammable.

Noise:

  • No soundsystems other than those that are part of the Wild Heart Gathering event will be allowed.
  • There will be no amplified music after 12 midnight, in order to respect our neighbours.
  • Please feel free to play impromptu music around the fire at night, but keep the noise level to a minimum.
  • There will be a 2am curfew on noise on site generally.

ALSO, NO PRIVATE SOUND SYSTEMS OR  DRUMMING….THANKYOU

CARPARKING – £2.50 for 5 day carpark, £1 for 1 day car park (a proportion of this charge will go to nominated eco-charities). Car Park gates will open at 9am and close daily at 9pm.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU AND CREATING MAGIC HAPPENINGS TOGETHER….
